PTE Core Answer Short Question

در Answer Short Question باید به یک سؤال کوتاه روزمره با پاسخ بسیار کوتاه و دقیق جواب دهید.

تمرین گفتاری

Answer briefly: What do you use to unlock a door?

A key.

تمرین نوشتاری

Write 90–110 words explaining four practical ways to improve oral fluency and pronunciation at B2 level.

To improve oral fluency, learners should practice speaking in meaningful chunks rather than word by word. They also need to stress important content words and use natural linking between common phrases. Recording a short response is useful because it reveals repeated pauses and unclear sounds. Finally, speakers should learn to recover from small mistakes instead of restarting a sentence. A steady pace, clear organization, and understandable pronunciation are more effective than speaking very quickly.

PTE Core Read Aloud

در B2 Read Aloud باید متن را سریع برای ساختار جمله، clauseها و punctuation اسکن کنید. سپس با thought groupهای منطقی، stress مناسب و intonation طبیعی بخوانید. اگر یک واژه را کمی اشتباه گفتید، ادامه دهید مگر اینکه معنی کاملاً عوض شود.

تمرین گفتاری

Read aloud this B2 passage with clear grouping: Although digital resources have made information easier to access, readers still need to evaluate sources carefully because speed does not guarantee reliability.

Although digital resources have made information easier to access, / readers still need to evaluate sources carefully / because speed does not guarantee reliability.

تمرین نوشتاری

Write a 90–110 word Read Aloud checklist explaining what you do before, during, and after a practice recording.

Before reading, I scan the text for punctuation, long clauses, unfamiliar words, and the main message. I mark natural thought groups so that I do not pause in the middle of an idea. During the reading, I keep a steady pace, stress key content words, and use intonation to show contrast or emphasis. If I make a minor error, I continue rather than restarting. Afterward, I compare the recording with the text and note repeated pronunciation or rhythm problems for focused practice.

PTE Core Repeat Sentence

در B2 Repeat Sentence را به واحدهای معنایی و grammatical frame تقسیم کنید. به content words، tense، articles و endings توجه کنید. اگر بخشی را از دست دادید، یک جمله دستوری و پیوسته با بیشترین اطلاعات درست بازسازی کنید، نه مجموعه‌ای از کلمات پراکنده.

تمرین گفتاری

Repeat accurately: Although the training was optional, most employees attended because the new system would affect their daily work.

Although the training was optional, most employees attended because the new system would affect their daily work.

تمرین نوشتاری

Write 90–110 words explaining how you would remember and reconstruct a long Repeat Sentence.

I first listen for the sentence frame: who or what the sentence is about, the main verb, and any contrast or reason. I group the message into two or three chunks and hold the stressed content words in order. Small grammar words such as articles and prepositions are important, but I do not let one missed word stop the response. If necessary, I reconstruct the sentence from the structure and key words I remember, keeping the tense and logical relationship as accurate as possible.

PTE Core Describe Image

در B2 Describe Image باید overview روشن، انتخاب داده‌های مهم، مقایسه و زبان روند داشته باشید. به‌جای فهرست کردن همه اعداد، 2–3 ویژگی معنادار را انتخاب کنید و با approximately, whereas, by contrast, peaked at, remained stable رابطه ایجاد کنید.

تمرین گفتاری

Describe a chart in which a score rises from 55 to 68, then 79, and finally 84. Give an overview, two comparisons, and a concise conclusion.

The chart shows a clear upward trend in scores across four stages. The figure begins at 55 and then rises by thirteen points to 68. Growth continues more strongly to 79, whereas the final increase is relatively modest, reaching 84. Overall, performance improves substantially, although the rate of growth slows in the last stage.

تمرین نوشتاری

Write a 100–120 word description of an imaginary chart with at least one rise, one stable period, and one comparison. Do not list every number mechanically.

The chart illustrates changes in monthly service use over a six-month period. Overall, usage rises considerably, although the pattern is not completely steady. It begins at roughly 1,200 visits and increases gradually during the first two months. The figure then remains almost unchanged in the middle of the period. By contrast, the final two months show the strongest growth, with usage peaking at approximately 2,000 visits. The main feature is therefore a substantial overall increase, interrupted by a short period of stability.

PTE Core Respond to a Situation

در Respond to a Situation باید متناسب با یک موقعیت روزمره، پاسخ طبیعی و کامل بدهید.

تمرین گفتاری

Your coworker asks you to cover a shift tomorrow, but you cannot. Respond politely and offer an alternative.

I am sorry, I cannot cover tomorrow, but I can help on Friday if that works for you.

تمرین نوشتاری

Write a 100–120 word structured retell note that identifies the main claim, three supporting points, and a conclusion.

The main claim is that online learning can widen access to education for people who work. First, flexible schedules allow learners to combine study with employment and family duties. Second, this flexibility requires stronger self-management because students must organize their own study time. Third, reliable technology and timely feedback are necessary if learners are to remain engaged. As a result, flexibility alone is not enough. Overall, the lecture suggests that online learning is effective when access, structure, motivation, and support are combined.

PTE Core Write from Dictation

در B2 WFD فقط spelling نیست. هنگام شنیدن، clause boundaries، articles، prepositions، verb endings و singular/plural را دنبال کنید. پس از تایپ، جمله را از نظر grammar و meaning دوباره بخوانید تا کلمات function کوچک جا نیفتاده باشند.

تمرین گفتاری

Repeat accurately: The revised schedule will be circulated to all participants once the final room allocation has been confirmed.

The revised schedule will be circulated to all participants once the final room allocation has been confirmed.

تمرین نوشتاری

Write 90–110 words describing a complete WFD routine from first listening to final proofreading.

During WFD, I listen first for the sentence structure and divide the message into short clauses. I type the main content words quickly, but I also pay attention to articles, prepositions, verb endings, and plural forms. If I am uncertain about one word, I use the grammar and meaning of the sentence to test possible spellings. Before submitting, I reread the entire sentence to check whether it is grammatically complete and whether small function words have been omitted. This final proofreading step often prevents avoidable errors.

PTE Core Reading & Writing: Fill in the Blanks

در B2 Reading Fill in the Blanks باید part of speech، grammar pattern، collocation و meaning را همزمان بررسی کنید. ابتدا گزینه‌های دستوری ناممکن را حذف کنید، سپس به ترکیب‌های طبیعی و معنای کل جمله یا پاراگراف توجه کنید.

تمرین گفتاری

Explain, with an example, how grammar, collocation, and context can lead to different choices in a blank.

I start by identifying the part of speech required by the sentence. Then I remove options that cannot fit the grammatical pattern. Among the remaining choices, I check which word forms a natural collocation with the surrounding words. Finally, I read the whole sentence again to make sure the meaning is coherent in context.

تمرین نوشتاری

Write a 100–120 word B2 strategy for Reading Fill in the Blanks and include one example of a collocation-based decision.

My first step is to identify the grammatical role of the missing word. If the blank follows an article, for example, I may expect a noun or an adjective plus a noun. I then eliminate choices that do not fit the structure. Next, I check collocation. In the phrase “reach a conclusion,” reach is more natural than make, even though both verbs may seem possible in isolation. Finally, I reread the complete sentence and surrounding context to confirm that the selected word supports the intended meaning.

PTE Core Reorder Paragraph

در B2 Re-order Paragraphs باید global organization و local cohesion را ترکیب کنید. topic sentence، chronology، cause–effect، lexical repetition، pronoun reference و demonstratives مثل this/these می‌توانند وابستگی میان جمله‌ها را نشان دهند.

تمرین گفتاری

Explain four different clues you would use to order a five-sentence paragraph, and say why no single clue is always sufficient.

I first look for a sentence that introduces the topic without depending on earlier information. Then I track pronouns and expressions such as this result or these changes because they require a previous reference. I also check chronology and cause-and-effect relationships. Finally, I read the full order for overall coherence, since one local clue can sometimes be misleading.

تمرین نوشتاری

Write 100–120 words explaining how you would solve a paragraph-order problem in which several sentences contain pronouns and cause-effect connectors.

I would begin by identifying the most independent sentence, which is often the topic sentence. Next, I would connect pronouns and demonstratives to the nouns or ideas they refer to. A sentence beginning with “therefore” should normally follow a cause, while “however” signals a contrast with an earlier statement. I would also check whether events follow a logical time sequence. After building likely pairs, I would read the entire paragraph from beginning to end to confirm that the topic develops naturally and that every reference has a clear antecedent.

PTE Core Listening Fill in the Blanks

در B2 Listening Fill in the Blanks باید همگام با audio حرکت کنید و از grammar prediction استفاده کنید. اگر یک blank را از دست دادید، آن را رها کنید تا موقعیت خود را در متن حفظ کنید؛ در پایان از syntax، word form و spelling برای بازبینی استفاده کنید.

تمرین گفتاری

Explain how you would use prediction and recovery in a difficult Listening Fill in the Blanks item.

Before the audio reaches a blank, I use the sentence structure to predict whether I need a noun, verb, adjective, or another form. If I miss the exact word, I keep pace with the recording instead of stopping. At the end, I return to the blank and use grammar, meaning, and likely spelling to make the best supported choice.

تمرین نوشتاری

Write a 100–120 word strategy explaining what you do before, during, and after Listening Fill in the Blanks.

Before the recording starts, I scan the text and notice the words around each blank. This gives me a rough prediction about possible word forms. During the audio, I follow the text continuously and type what I hear without sacrificing my position for one difficult blank. If I miss a word, I mark the location mentally and keep moving. After the audio, I review each answer for spelling and grammatical fit. Syntax and context can sometimes help me recover a partially heard word, but I avoid unsupported guessing.

PTE Core Listening

PTE Core Highlight Incorrect Words

در B2 Highlight Incorrect Words نیاز به sustained attention و phonological comparison دارید. transcript را کلمه‌به‌کلمه با audio هماهنگ کنید، اما فقط وقتی تفاوت را واضح شنیدید انتخاب کنید؛ چون انتخاب اضافی می‌تواند جریمه داشته باشد.

تمرین گفتاری

Explain how you balance speed and accuracy when the transcript contains several possible-looking differences.

I keep my eyes slightly ahead of the audio so that I know which word is coming next. However, I do not click simply because a word looks unusual. I wait until the spoken form clearly conflicts with the transcript. Because unnecessary selections may be penalized, accuracy is more important than reacting to every uncertain sound.

تمرین نوشتاری

Write 90–110 words explaining a low-risk strategy for Highlight Incorrect Words.

The safest strategy is to track the transcript continuously while listening for clear mismatches. I keep my visual attention close to the current spoken word and avoid reading too far ahead. When a word sounds different, I confirm the mismatch before selecting it. If the sound is unclear, I continue rather than guessing, because an unnecessary selection can reduce the score. I also practice common sound contrasts and word endings so that grammatical differences, such as singular versus plural forms, are easier to detect in real time.

PTE Core Summarize Written Text

در B2 Summarize Written Text باید central claim، اصلی‌ترین support و رابطه منطقی آن‌ها را در 25–50 کلمه فشرده کنید. paraphrase کنید، جزئیات کم‌اهمیت را حذف کنید و با یک جمله یا ساختار منسجم نشان دهید چرا نکات به هم مربوط‌اند.

تمرین گفتاری

In 45–60 seconds, summarize why well-designed public transportation can affect congestion, access, and the environment.

Well-designed public transportation can improve urban life in several connected ways. Reliable services reduce dependence on private cars, which may lower congestion and emissions, while affordable routes can improve access to employment and essential services. Its benefits therefore depend not only on the number of vehicles but also on coverage, frequency, and integration with other forms of transport.

تمرین نوشتاری

Write a 35–50 word summary of this idea: online learning is flexible and accessible, but outcomes depend on course design, learner motivation, feedback, and reliable technology.

Online learning can widen access by allowing students to study flexibly, but its effectiveness depends on more than convenience: well-designed courses, sustained learner motivation, timely feedback, and reliable technology are all necessary for flexible delivery to produce strong educational outcomes.

PTE Core Listening

PTE Core Summarize Spoken Text

در B2 Summarize Spoken Text باید هنگام گوش دادن topic، speaker stance، 2–3 key points و conclusion را جدا کنید. یادداشت‌ها باید کوتاه باشند، اما متن نهایی باید grammar و cohesion کامل داشته باشد و صرفاً فهرست نکات نباشد.

تمرین گفتاری

Explain a note-taking system that captures the topic, stance, two supporting points, and conclusion without writing full sentences.

I write the topic at the top and use a plus or minus sign to record the speaker’s attitude. Under that, I note two or three key points with arrows for cause and result. I avoid complete sentences while listening. After the audio ends, I use the notes to produce a coherent summary that reflects both the content and the speaker’s overall position.

تمرین نوشتاری

Write a 25–35 word summary of a talk arguing that communication training improves teamwork because it clarifies responsibilities, reduces misunderstandings, and makes feedback more constructive.

The speaker argues that communication training strengthens teamwork by clarifying responsibilities, reducing preventable misunderstandings, and helping colleagues exchange feedback more constructively, which can improve both cooperation and day-to-day problem solving.

PTE Core Speaking & Writing

PTE Core Write Email

در Write Email باید با لحن مناسب، هدف، جزئیات و درخواست خود را روشن و منظم بنویسید.

تمرین گفتاری

Give a 60-second argument about whether online learning should complement rather than completely replace classroom education. Include one concession.

Online learning should complement classroom education rather than replace it completely. It offers valuable flexibility and can widen access for people with work or family responsibilities. However, face-to-face classes provide immediate interaction and may be more suitable for practical activities. Although digital courses are increasingly effective, a blended approach can combine flexibility with direct support and social engagement.

تمرین نوشتاری

Write an email to your building manager reporting a broken washing machine and asking when it will be repaired.

PTE Core Reading Multiple Choice, Multiple Answers

در C1 آزمون ترکیبی فقط مدیریت زمان نیست؛ باید بعد از تغییر سریع task، register و نوع پردازش را عوض کنید، خطاهای خود را تحلیل کنید و بدون افت انسجام بازیابی شوید. پس از mock باید الگوی خطا، علت و اقدام اصلاحی مشخص شود.

تمرین گفتاری

Give a 60–75 second post-mock analysis: identify one recurring weakness, explain why it occurs, and propose a measurable correction plan.

A recurring weakness in my mock performance is losing accuracy immediately after a difficult listening item. The problem is not simply vocabulary; it is the time I spend mentally reviewing the previous mistake, which increases cognitive load during the next task. To correct this, I will use a fixed recovery routine: note the item type, release the error, and focus on the next instruction within five seconds. I will measure improvement by comparing accuracy on the two items that follow each major mistake.

تمرین نوشتاری

Write a 150–180 word diagnostic report after a mock test. Identify two patterns, explain probable causes, prioritize them, and state measurable corrective actions.

The mock test revealed two recurring patterns. First, my listening accuracy declined after items containing unfamiliar terminology. The immediate cause was not always lack of comprehension; I often spent too long trying to recover one word and consequently missed the next phrase. I will therefore practice maintaining position in the audio and record whether this reduces consecutive errors. Second, my written responses were generally accurate but became less cohesive under time pressure because I began writing before planning the relationship between ideas. This issue is the higher priority because it affects several task types. For the next five practice sessions, I will spend thirty seconds outlining the claim and supporting points before drafting. I will compare cohesion scores and editing time across sessions. The objective is not merely to increase practice volume, but to test whether specific changes remove the causes of repeated errors.

PTE Core Reading Multiple Choice, Single Answer

در C1 consistency یعنی حفظ کیفیت grammar، cohesion، lexical choice و task fulfillment در چند نوع سؤال، نه فقط استفاده از template ثابت. باید بتوانید در محدودیت زمان ساختار را ساده یا گسترش دهید بدون اینکه دقت یا register از بین برود.

تمرین گفتاری

Explain for 60–75 seconds how you decide what to simplify when time is limited, while preserving the main claim, cohesion, and accurate language.

When time is limited, I simplify optional detail rather than the core structure. I keep a clear claim, one or two well-developed supporting points, and explicit logical links. I may choose more familiar vocabulary if a sophisticated expression would increase the risk of error. This is a deliberate trade-off: the response becomes slightly less elaborate, but it remains accurate, coherent, and complete. Consistency therefore depends on adapting complexity to the available time rather than repeating a fixed template.

تمرین نوشتاری

Write a 150–180 word reflection comparing two mock performances. Explain why one was more consistent and identify what you will retain or change.

The second mock was more consistent than the first, even though its best individual response was not as strong. In the first test, I attempted complex vocabulary whenever possible, but this increased hesitation in speaking and produced avoidable grammar errors in writing. In the second, I adapted the complexity of each response to the time available. I retained a clear claim and logical structure, while using less risky wording when necessary. As a result, my scores varied less across tasks. I should retain this approach, particularly the habit of protecting structure before adding detail. However, I still need to improve lexical range outside timed practice so that a wider choice of expressions becomes automatic. The comparison suggests that consistency is not achieved by lowering ambition; it comes from controlling complexity and matching it to the task conditions.
